Ghana Association of Southern California is a Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation
The purpose of the Association includes, but not limited to, membership support, educational and cultural activities, the support of Ghana and pooling of resources to maintain financial and economic security of the Association and its members as defined by the bylaws.
The Association, among other things, organizes housing information seminars, health and education services to the Ghanaian community and serves an information resource center for Southern California on matters related to Ghana. An annual family picnic is also organized by the Association to showcase the various Ghanaian dishes and games.
The Association organises events to showcase the rich culture of Ghana and brings out hundreds of Ghanaians and other nationalities to raise funds for the Association towards helping the needy, both here and in Ghana.
